over the two suspects. well tom we have reports from associated press that the name of the suspect now at large is dzhokhar to arrive what we know at the moment is that he is nineteen years old the media here are saying that he is of tresham background we don't know if he's a russian citizen at this point we apparently attended he apparently attended school in russia republic of dagestan we reached out to the school and they told us that the young man spent there around a year and that the family arrived there from karega ston in two thousand and one and they didn't didn't actually remember the young man very well it's all very sketchy at this point we're going to get more details in the coming hours of course and maybe some of the reports that we shared now will well prove wrong the suspect who was killed earlier today is reported to be his twenty year old brother that met along they were apparently permanent residents. of the u.s.
8:01 am
judging by the photos that are emerging both brothers were into into martial arts we we we don't know if they were acting alone or they were whether they were trained abroad whether they were part of a terrorist network or maybe a network that was with connections with terrorist groups inside russia but we do know that the south of russia has seen many attacks at this point we went actually . one of the one of the suspects the one who was killed on a riot has a you tube page and monkeys videos the videos that he collected there or those would be just contents and also there's a blog called paris and but the videos. and the lead it so. that's as far as what we know at this point about of all right dan how does the man
8:02 am
how did progress they know that some of this new information has come out we know that he's been on the run the second suspect because the man had put progressing. the wrong apparently the suspect at large hasn't gone down for one of the two suspects again going to go back to to the tamira long to the to this twenty year old suspect who was so shocked. in the boston area earlier it is believed to be the one in the black bag. we have seen the photos of these to two men one was wearing a white hat and the other one a black one so the one who was killed was the one who was wearing the black and had a massive manhunt is of course under way for suspect number two. it is important to to mention that federal authorities do not. do not give any
8:03 am
names they just refer to them as suspect number one suspect number two and that's it so these are all of the reports that we're getting from from use agencies from their sources as far as the manhunt boston is on lockdown now public transportation is shut down in boston no trains in and out of boston the subway of boston is all tracked down and the police strongly advised people in the area where they shot and killed the first suspect the watertown area in boston to be very cautious to stay indoors lock their doors they are now sweeping the neighborhoods trying to find his suspected partner in crime and maybe his brother. the one in the white head on photos surveillance cameras. that we've seen police called the man a terrorist who is armed and dangerous. again i just want to go back to the day
8:04 am
that voss involving me we know the marathon is the well right now and a lot of well known as these take pots and they tell us the progress in from when that bomb went off the subsequent bombs went off and they investigated how that progress to them being at this point what we actually need now have these two suspects one who's already on the run still and the one who's now shot dead by the police. that's right the bombs the two bombs went off within seconds of each other monday afternoon right near the track where the marathon was was taking place and it's been a five day manhunt and the remains of. the bomb this this hole me where were found and it was placed inside a pressure cooker so that was a pressure cooker bomb but as we know the pressure cooker bombs have been used many
8:05 am
terrorist attacks around the world. as far as you know it was very symbolic they kept playing the footage of the flags of the truck where the bombs ripped through and it was the way the flags and there were fifty six countries participating and the third victim the furred the third person killed in these bombings bombings was identified as a chinese national and when the bombs went off and they blown off the flak there were along that track it was very symbolic of how international the plague of terrorism really is. so it was not just our giving american citizens it was just that they were again more than fifty six countries participating in that marathon. right granted as you can there
8:06 am
in washington just giving us an update in a round of what's been happening there in that manhunt as well as the aftermath of that boston bombing now going on while you were speaking we also had some of those footage from of the marathon and right now we just want to show you a little bit of all of footage live footage here that we have of the actual house of one of the suspects that street there where police are standing they guarding that house is obviously being searched for any kind of evidence that my suggest the way they go where he's going rather and where they came from all of that is going to be searched some of this evidence of course police might release it in the next couple of days that might not it's a huge investigation now with one person one suspect on the run at the moment i want to come back to the studio now so we can get a little bit more insight on what's happening and specifically with the two suspects that report have mentioned come from the north caucuses with me in studio
8:07 am
. let's see you know there's so many conflicting stories coming out right now but what we do know now for certain that these two suspects might actually come from the north caucuses what can you tell us about that well the fact that we have a north. train all here in the story is a huge unexpected twist rather because. these men supposedly from the north caucasus. involved in these attacks and being named as main suspects the question is whether these men had actually anything to do with the north caucuses apart from supposedly being born there. we had a military operation in russia for decades with hundreds and thousands leaving russia some were leaving for the sake of finding a peaceful place to live some were leaving because they were involved in a military operation on the side of the chechen fighters. obviously some habits die
8:08 am
hard and these men it's of course yet to be determined whether they had any filiation with any terrorist groups or anything like that. find themselves on american soil you can never rule out that they would could be involved in terrorism because certainly some of these men who fought on the side of the chechen fighters back in the military operations in russia of course they were they had ties with al qaeda and different terrorist organizations russian government made no secret whatsoever that some of these fighters were. supported by the from abroad including al qaeda stuff so if we look at the migration of chechens after the war you can find them anywhere you can find in europe in england in the united states as we can see the question is whether they still have some affiliation with the with the militants or whether they. were just acting alone. right we've just got word right now reports say that the governor deval patrick says that there is a massive manhunt underway and
8:09 am
a law down has now been extended to boston we've heard guided they also say that public transport has been shut down boston is basically on a stand still i want to come back to what we do know about these suspects we've heard stories that the own mind preserve and actually tells us a little bit more about them what can you share with us that they've they've come up on the russian social networking. what do you know about them what what has come out of that there is like a very popular russian social network something like a facebook copy in russia and one of the friends of one of the suspects had a video with one of the suspects. this really hard to say what the content of those videos were because just basically minutes after the information came out that these guys were supposedly involved in the boston attacks this person deleted his page so the videos were no longer available but clearly this somehow shows that
8:10 am
these guys had some friends back in russia despite that supposedly they were living abroad for some time it's still unclear where and how there is information that one of them was living in turkey for some period of time another one. was somehow connected to kurdistan as i've said there's like very little known information to the moment it's almost a speculation so we are of course waiting for some more details though to to clear up in the hours if indeed these young men and these suspects come from the north caucuses old chestnut as some would like to call it it's almost you have to think about the history of the u.s. and russia because there you have you know if president putin says anything i know with a has been speculation that he said he's willing to help countries willing to help the boss. investigation it's almost like russian you the u.s. are now fighting the war on terror well because if these these suspects do come
8:11 am
from a terroristic background then you have to think they are both working for the same thing now the fact is that the u.s. and russia have been fighting the same war for many years now because the the military operation which we had in the caucasus here in the chechnya and in the neighboring republics as well the fact is like this was the same thing that america was trying to fight for for decades as well. the people who are fighting here in the north caucasus they have ties with every just about every islamic terrorist organization in the world as again russian government never made any secrets of that saying all along that this is these guys are having ties with al qaeda and other fundamental islamic terrorists moreover the views which they professed in the north caucasus. they were i would say seriously radical islamic views. based on the same war the fact is like as i've said the biggest question is whether these guys these two suspects are actually any connection had any affiliation with
8:12 am
those remaining chechen militants which are now scattered all across the planet i saw with my own eyes the chechen militants in france. the luxuries of luxury resort there were traces of these guys there so you can never rule out these guys in turkey in england in portugal and spain anywhere so we just have to understand some more information on these two suspects whether they had anything with terrorist groups in europe or even possibly in the those small groups remaining in the russia's north caucasus in the republic of dagestan where occasionally we do have some explosions and terrorist attacks as well it just because again it does say that these two boys aged between nineteen and twenty six the wrestler possibly could be brothers is the so much information that's coming out. obviously we're all waiting to hear what the official reports say but all this information that's been reported on site and as we get it via the wires let's see
8:13 am
the in studio with me just give us an insight on the north caucuses and if whether these two suspects do come from the north caucasus. right now live to our correspondent in washington now for the latest. we we've heard that. the spokesman in dagestan talking about to the family can you tell us a little bit about that what do you know what has been said. well a so far we know we know their names we know dad the name of the suspect who is now at large is sort of i of what we know at the moment is that he's nineteen years old the media of your are saying that he is of chechen background we don't know if he's a russian citizen at this point he apparently attended school in russia as the druggist on republic in the republic of doctors down we reached out to that school
8:14 am
and they told us that the young men spent there a year and that their family arrived there from kurdistan in two thousand and one and then left the republic of dagestan in two thousand and two we don't know where they went whether they went to the united states or elsewhere it's all very sketchy at this point we're going to get more details in the coming hours and maybe some of the reports that we shared now will prove wrong the suspect who was killed earlier tonight is reported to be twenty year old his twenty year old brother tom had a lot of they were apparently permanent residents in the u.s. for how long they've lived in the u.s. we don't know the media here are saying that they've lived here for at least two years because the younger brother who is now at large he has apparently won a scholarship. at the school in massachusetts judging by the photos that are emerging both brothers were into apparently martial
8:15 am
arts and then the elder brother who is killed now he had a you tube page where he has all kinds of some of them deleted and they are. of religious content. most of them very focused on islam and then he has a number of videos. called in the folder that is called terrorists so that's that's as much as we know about about these young men than it is you can be in washington just giving us an update as we get it by the hour now of course a report national national security official confirmed the names of the boston bombing suspects as. well as we mentioned they are believed to be from russia's north caucasus region thought to be brothers and are reported to have moved to the united states about two years ago
8:16 am
but as of the intense manhunt continues in watertown massachusetts of all the surviving suspect the other was shot dead earlier today during a standoff with police f.b.i. agents and members of the national guard are involved in the large scale manhunt along with hundreds of police officers going door to door searching for the other suspect reports say explosives have also been discovered along with a pressure cooker similar to the ones used in the marathon bombing if specialist police unit is on site and local residents are urged to remain indoors and stay away from windows. now we also know that they left the u.s. in two thousand and two and one of the these suspects was only eight years old at the time we're now showing you those were the live pictures of the house where they actually found some of the explosives and this is the you tube channel of one of
8:17 am
the suspects the videos have been said have been found we don't know exactly the contents of the videos but we do know that some of the videos have been. found today they are said to be quite religious the two brothers i want to go back to to let's see it again who's with me in the studio to talk a little bit more about this let's see we've seen the you tube video we've seen the house that's been searched right now we know that the two suspects are believed to have left for the u.s. in two thousand and two. given given all of this it doesn't it sounds like the like you said you were you you said that a lot of the the people they immigrated overseas tell us a little bit more about that some of that immigration that took place in the ninety's where you could you could never be enumerated the number of people the actual number of people who fled the north caucasus region and russia which now they do stand for different reasons some of them of course were looking for a more peaceful life when when the military operation when the war was happening there some of them were leaving because they. basically were fighting on the side
8:18 am
of the terrorists and as they saw that the operation was seriously coming to an end being overpowered by the federal forces they had to flee abroad they had to find refuge somewhere else and you could basically find traces of these guys everywhere some of them have been legitimized in european countries and in england in the united states they ask for political asylum for different reasons they got the political asylum but you know old habits die hard and this may be just the case if it is proven if these guys if the two suspects their connection to the terrorist organizations in north caucasus or anywhere else will be proven then there would certainly mean that there could be people like that everywhere across the world because as again nobody ever numerated an estimate of how many people could have left chechnya and dagestan in the times in the ninety's and in the early. twenty
8:19 am
first century because many of them were leaving and you can find them anywhere in france i mean when i saw with my own eyes and again i say in france some of these people quite aggressive. they were but that doesn't mean of course that and the great the churches were aggressive but the ones i saw were pretty pretty harsh and pretty tense so this could be just a case of of those militants who were not dealt with or maybe their children we still don't know because supposedly their age is quite young they didn't know young ninety six so i don't think it's quite strange to see if these people were fighting on the side of terrorists back then but maybe their children hold that for me they see i want to go live now to peter lavelle who i believe is actually on line with us but before we get to pita if he can hold can hear me the people are managed very well hello peter developed a veil artie's cross-talk up her he said peter if they want to come as quite a surprise to many that these suspects hail from the north caucuses isn't it. i'm
8:20 am
very very surprised when they said it was you know white people i can call cajun that from caucus it's ok so i'm very surprised by it and i think we're going to learn a whole lot more but one thing that really i found interesting is that because russians had to deal with so much on terrorism from that part of the world now they've exported it to america but let's find out more let's not make any judgments here at this point yes or no for the still coming out of course osama still not can confirm that the u.s. and pumping billions into his domestic security how do you think the suspects managed to enter the country and carry out such a devastating attack me well they're fighting the wrong war on terrorism that's percenter ok that could be cells all over the point. i heard your earlier speaker i mean they're they're they're all these people around different cells different countries getting scores from girls come on come countries and it's very hard to say but i mean it says it's very telling that you spend so much money on the war on
8:21 am
terrorism and this can happen it's extraordinary these young these suspects the young men discuss this who suspect that between the ages of nineteen and twenty six we could that man was a terrorist cell behind the motives on the tags i mean these are young men they're very young we have to find out you know what their connections were to the country and what their connections were the north caucuses we don't know about either ok maybe that was just a fading memory or very strong connections i mean it's still very early to say but i'm still very surprised that it's these two individuals peter what is this called assist ways tell us about the in taga and the activities of terrorist organizations thing well made their name the networks are everywhere and they're very tight and they can get anywhere they want to i mean the the boston marathon is a huge event it's a huge media event they could pull that off it's extraordinary. peter peter lavelle the. you know peter we just got information that all the older
8:22 am
suspect the twenty six year old he was born in china they moved to the end the family moved. there two thousand and one in dagestan and then two thousand they only moved to the u.s. it doesn't sound to you like this could be the making of could take over and plant a block of a bomb in a marathon as big as the boston marathon. or never get free lancers we don't know maybe they had another issue maybe you know they didn't connect. me. with kind of connection around the world. peter peter lavelle they are. cross talk a host just giving us an insight they are not the north caucuses and if indeed there is any connection between the two suspects and the north caucuses we'll have more of that of course as we get more information now our team managed to talk to
8:23 am
irina the secretary of the elementary school in dagestan where one of the suspects attended here's what she told us. the first grade and after just a year he left our school his family is from kurdistan there were food children in the family two sisters and two brothers in two thousand one hundred the school and in two thousand and two they left for the u.s. . well let's get more on that about the connection with our. we've heard let's see first china then then two thousand and one day and then two thousand and two the boys end up in the u.s. what do we make of this movement they don't know is it if indeed it is true that that's where they started and then ended up it is a migration they isn't exactly if this world trail of their movements from the child birth through to the present moment if they proved to be correct then that
8:24 am
doesn't mean that these guys are actually from the north caucasus they may be just of the north koreans in the sense of the winds along the way as young boys moving from china now we're speculating here but given the search and the age and say if we just saw let's look at the age where they grew up what is like what's the likelihood of them being in two ways otherwise that may easily have been the case were they have been influenced by religious beliefs by radical islam because if we look at their videos unfortunate they were deleted but we managed to have a look at the videos on the russian's social networking website they were mostly of religious content so. this may be the case i mean they may have been influenced maybe their parents were somehow connected i'm just speculating here of course but maybe some of the people they know their relatives were connected somehow to the guys who were the fighters on the side of the chechen chechen terrorists those who had to leave the country because the military operation was over the terrorists
8:25 am
were defeated we of course do have some terrorist cells in the north caucasus still in the drugs we do have explosions there still nowadays but officially chechen republic now is living in peace there is no terrorist there are no terrorist attacks there on daily bases and as it used to be like a decade ago. it may be the case that these guys were influenced by the by the events of the past because i can't imagine them actually taking part in military operations in the chechen republic back in the days when we had a military operation there because it would have been a little bit there would have. like twelve year twelve fifteen years old back then of course everything sports about the war you know but so many possibilities so many and we're and reveling the story you don't souls we're bringing our viewers up today to every every every time we get information we're obviously bringing you to our viewers now i just want to recap on actually what's been happening so far what information we have the national security official confirmed the names of the boston bombings the suspects as part of milan. for knives as we
8:26 am
mentioned they are believed to be from russia's north caucasus region they are thought to be brothers and are reported to have moved to the united states about two years ago we're watching right now you're seeing life features are from that house aware of the suspects one of them is on the run at the moment we know they found some explosives the and that's as intense mainland continues in watertown massachusetts for the surviving suspect the other was assured earlier today during a standoff with police every hour agents and members of the national guard are involved in the large scale manhunt along with hundreds of police officers going door to door searching for the other suspect reports say explosives have also been discovered along with a pressure cooker similar to the ones used in the marathon bombing is specialist on the police unit is on side and local residents urged to remain indoors and stay

places in iraq even some very far from the fighting to be contaminated naturally radiation is not racist and foreign soldiers in iraq are not immune usa today even published research results that found that depleted uranium was indeed in the lungs and other organs of navy vets who filed for health compensation claims yet you know saddam hussein seemed like a pretty bad guy but there are always ways to get around the confines of a dictatorship but there is no way to escape from radiation it is truly present so for the invasions of iraq and good for the iraqis well it doesn't seem to be doing too good for their physical health but that's just my opinion. choose your language. with. some.
